I read a great article this morning on The Register, titled '
UK eCommerce breaks 4 billion a month'. It cited a recent study of UK online shopping sites, showing an 80% increase in sales from last last year.
This UK trend is having a flow on effect in NZ, and in terms of our own business, we've noticed a big increase of enquiries for our eCommerce websites.
With economic pressures driving costs up, business owners are becoming savvy to the fact that eCommerce sites can provide a comparatively cheap alternative to high street retailing and also that consumers are increasingly more comfortable in shopping online.
