Download a printable version of this tutorial.

   
First ensure you are logged in.

1. Go to the Events page.


2. Click the Add Pencil in the Events List.


3. Type in an Event Title or Subject.


4. Type a Location.

   
5. Set the time of the event using the All Day Event tickbox and Start and End Time calendars.


6. Select whether your event will reoccur.


7. Select when you would like your event to expire from the calendar.


8. Check the tickbox next to the category you would like to file your Event under (most people will only have one category but it is important to tick this box otherwise the Event will not publish).


9. Give the news item a short Description.


10. Select a Event Detail Type, pick HTML if you want to type out the information yourself, URL if you want to link to another page containing the event information, or document if you want to attach the event information as a document attachment.


11. Add the required text, URL or document.


12. Click Update.
